Rexelian at CEP Auto 2026 | ELV recycled content in automotive plastics

Rexelian Officially Launched: Driving High-Performance Innovation with Recycled Compounds

Barcelona, January 28, 2026 – Rexelian will take part in CEP Auto 2026, presenting high-performance recycled compounds designed to meet the new European minimum recycled plastic content requirements under the ELV Regulation (EU 2023/0284).

The 22nd International Conference on Plastics in Automotive, organised by the Centro Español de Plásticos, will take place on 18 and 19 February 2026 at Hotel SB BCN Events (Castelldefels, Barcelona). The event will bring together key stakeholders from across the automotive value chain to analyse the impact of the European End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) regulation and the global market context on plastics and materials for mobility.

As part of the technical programme, we will deliver the conference:

The presentation will be given by Antoni González, Managing Director, together with Sandra Fernández Freixa, Marketing & Sustainability Director.

During the session, we will address one of the core challenges facing the automotive industry today: how to integrate recycled content in line with ELV requirements while maintaining automotive-grade performance, quality consistency and long-term supply reliability.

Our contribution will focus on the role of engineered mechanical recycling and compounding in bridging the gap between fast-moving regulatory requirements and the industrial realities of automotive materials, highlighting how high-performance recycled compounds can be successfully implemented in demanding automotive applications.

CEP Auto 2026 will feature 20 technical conferences, two round tables and a dedicated networking area, providing a forum for in-depth discussion on regulation, innovation, materials development and real industrial use cases in automotive plastics.
